Ten years into his career, the combination of weighty musical influences, lived experience and song writing prowess make this Munson's best album yet. Though clearly anchored in the blues tradition, Munson is turning a corner with Let Some Light In. The record kicks off with some heavy rock and roll, is punctuated with his signature intricate finger picking and features multiple instrumental tracks that evoke more emotion than words could match. His collaborations with Humbird, JT Bates and Zach Zurn add depth and punch to a well-rounded album that demonstrates his maturity as an artist.
